Monero Academy is a free education site for learning Monero — the private, fungible, peer-to-peer digital cash. Everything here is built around short video lessons organized into courses, from absolute-beginner topics like getting your first wallet to advanced topics like running your own node and verifying software.

Put simply, it's free online Monero training — structured from the ground up so a complete beginner can start with the basics and work all the way to confident, self-sovereign use. The whole curriculum is self-paced, there's no cost, and you don't need an account to watch.

Accounts are optional — you only need one to take quizzes and earn a place on the graduates wall, and even then it's just a username and password, with no email signup. There are no paywalls. Watch the lessons, follow the related links, then take the quizzes to check what stuck. The site works over Tor and keeps JavaScript to a minimum.

How it's funded

The site is supported by sponsors from the Monerica directory and by affiliate links on some lesson resources. Sponsor placements are always labeled. If the site helps you, you can also donate XMR directly.

How the lessons are made

The lessons — scripts, narration, slides, and quizzes — are built and kept up to date with the help of AI, then reviewed for accuracy. This lets us cover a lot of ground and refresh material quickly as Monero changes. If you spot something wrong or out of date, please let us know.
