Privacy policy

Monero Academy is built to teach Monero, so privacy is the point. You can watch every lesson without an account, an email address, or any personal information. Accounts are optional — you only need one to take quizzes, earn a place on the graduates wall, or comment, and even then it's just a username and password (no email). The site works over Tor and keeps JavaScript to a minimum.

What we don't do

Cookies we use

We use a small number of first-party cookies. There are no third-party or advertising cookies.

All of these are first-party, set to HttpOnly, and used only for the purposes above. You can block or delete them at any time in your browser; only the login cookies are needed for the optional account features, and nothing else on the site depends on cookies.

Information you choose to give us

If you create an account, we store the username and password you choose (nothing else). Quiz results and a graduates-wall entry are tied to that account. If you post a comment or send feedback, we store what you submit so we can show or review it. Don't include anything you wouldn't want to be public.

Outbound links

Lessons link to third-party resources, and some are affiliate links (always labeled where relevant). Once you leave Monero Academy, the destination site's own privacy practices apply — we have no control over them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves; material changes will appear on this page. Questions? Contact us.

🎓 Graduate from Monero Academy

Create a free account, ace every quiz across all courses, and earn your place on the Graduates wall — with your own Monero address for donations. An account also tracks your progress through the courses, and graduating is the prize for finishing.
